So it turns out Caribou, Elk and Reindeer are all on the dinner menu up in Alaska. To bad Greg will have to return to the non-exotic fair of New York food this week as his trek to the great North West comes to an end. As Steve is still on the mountain and Nick has an appointment, Greg gets to jump right into training tomorrow afternoon (no morning classes as he got in after midnight this morning)
Yesterday Steve, Sarah and Nick went down to Guerilla Fitness (CrossFit Monclair) to attend the Northeast CrossFit Affiliate Think Tank. It was mostly a lot of talk about the business side of things. It was good to hear that a lot of the larger gyms out there went through the same things we have went through even if it went a little faster for them. With this information, we hope that when we need to make adjustments in how the gym is managed things will hopefully go smoothly, especially as we start growing. We will keep everyone updated with changes as they come and please always feel free to give us any suggestions you might have that can help us make Hudson Valley CrossFit the best it can be.
Reminder: join the Nutrition seminar with Dallas and Melissa down in the City at Crossfit Virtuosity. So far Nick has signed up. Hopefully we can get a few more HVCFers. It is only $60 for the seminar and if we get a few people to go we can look into carpooling.
